Join us for our new History Highlights tour series! Each monthly Saturday tour features our professional museum staff, who get to highlight their favorite stories, research, and collections around Shawnee Town 1929.  

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in our nation, but it was only a first step toward real equality. Explore life for non-white families in 1920s Shawnee, from their challenges to their accomplishments, and some of the personal stories the Museum has been researching! 

This tour is included with General Admission. Space is limited, and first-come first-serve. **Friends of Shawnee Town Members are entitled to FREE general admission (based on their Membership Level).

This Tour will replace the normal 11:00am guided tour time that day. Normal tours will be resume again at 12:00pm.
